Login: how do I login to My Account (membership area)?

Answer: Log in to your My Account by entering your e-mail address and Password in the Member Login area (top right). In your My Account you can update your My Profile, view your My Survey, My Reward History & Convert Your Points. .

 

I forgot my login information, how can I login?

Answer: You can login using your e-mail address and your chosen password. If you have forgotten your password simply click on 'Forgot your password'. Don't forget to set your hint question and answer too!

Why are surveys carried out?

Answer: Businesses, governments, public bodies & similar organizations are interested in the views and attitudes of the people who use their products & services. The more they know about what customers & potential customers, citizens & consumers thoughts, the easier it is for them to improve and adapt what they supply. Choozz gives them the chance to do this - and gives you the opportunity to influence what goes on in the world.

What happens after I join?

Answer: We will send you an e-mail welcoming you to Choozz. After that, we'll contact you periodically by e-mail to ask you to take part in a survey. The e-mail will contain all the information you need to participate, including the URL to visit to take the survey. When you take a survey, you'll have the opportunity to earn points and/or prizes.

Do I have to pay anything to join?

Answer: No, membership is free. We will never ask you for money or try to sell you anything. We are only interested in your opinions.

What do I do if I have changed my e-mail address?

Answer: By logging into the member login area to your Choozz My Account, click on My Profile. In the list, click on the second item, Change E-mail Address. Say 'yes', when asked if you would like to change your e-mail address from your current e-mail address and follow the easy steps.

How do I become a member?

Answer: It's very easy. Simply fill in your details on our sign-up page. We'll send you a link to the application form so you are able to confirm your membership.

How old do I have to be to take part in the surveys?

Answer: You must be between 14 and 35 to be a Choozz member. If you are over 35, please check out our SurveySpot panel at www.surveyspot.com for more survey opportunities.

Will it cost me anything if I join Choozz?

Answer: There are no costs associated with joining the panel and you can leave at any time. You do however, need an email address to receive invitations to participate in surveys and you need to be able to access the Internet to complete online surveys.

Questions about Privacy

Why do you need my personal details on the application form?

Answer: We need personal information about you so that survey results can be correctly interpreted. For instance, a survey might need to find out whether more men than women use the Internet, or more young people go to the cinema and so on. Because we've included your details on the membership application form, we don't need to ask you for them every time you do a survey.

Also, for some surveys we are looking for specific kinds of people - with a particular qualification, living in a particular area, married or single and so on. Thanks to the application form, we can easily identify the people we need. However, your individual details (including your name and email address) are never linked to your survey answers - we value your privacy as highly as you do. Read our Privacy statement for more information.

Why did I get an e-mail with a link to the application form if I didn't apply myself?

Answer: It's possible that someone made a typing error & accidentally submitted your e-mail address while asking to become a member of Choozz. It's also possible that someone has used your e-mail address without your permission. If you don't want to join, simply ignore the email & the reminder that will be sent. Your details will not be included on our members' list & you will not be contacted again.

If I join Choozz, will I receive e-mails advertising other products and services?

Answer: No. We do not sell or give away the contact details of our members (not even to each other) & we carry no advertising on the site. We will never try to sell you a product or service & companies who use our services have no direct access to your details.

Questions about Points

Why does my balance say 0 points?

Answer: The points on your account are accumulated when you participate in a survey that carries points. The points are clearly shown in the survey invitation that you participate in.

If you believe that you should have more points showing on your account, please forward the survey invitations and/or project numbers of the survey(s) that you took part in to our helpdesk. We are then able to check your reward history and award you these points, so that you are able to redeem them.

Questions about PayPal

Answer: Below is the important information, for setting up your PayPal account:


1. If you don’t have a PayPal account: Go to www.paypal.com and click on ‘Sign up’. Follow the steps shown to create a new account (with the email address to which we sent your reward.) When you do not wish to enter a credit card number, you can simply skip this field and enter a bank account number at a later stage, by clicking on ‘profile / bank accounts / Add, without using a credit card. After creating an account, you can follow the steps described under 3: ‘You have a PayPal account.’


2. If you do have a PayPal account, your PayPal email MUST be the same as your OpinionWorld email address. If you have an account, but with a different email address: You can add the email address to which we sent your reward to your existing account. Simply click on ‘Log in’ followed by ‘profile’ / email’ / ‘add’. This way, you can add up to 7 extra email addresses to your existing PayPal account. After adding the desired address, you can follow the steps described under 3: ‘You have a PayPal account.’


3. If you have a PayPal account: Go to www.paypal.com and click on ‘Log in’. After logging into your account, you can see your reward under ‘Account activity’. Click on ‘Accept’ to finalise the payment. The reward we sent you is now added to your account.
To transfer money from your PayPal account to your bank account, click on ‘add funds’ / ‘transfer funds from a bank account’. Please note that the minimum amount you can transfer to your bank account is £10.00.
PLEASE NOTE: After receiving this e-mail, you have 30 days to accept the transfer we have made. After 30 days the payment expires and will be returned to OpinionWorld. It is not possible to receive your reward by cheque or bank transfer.

What is the minimum amount I can claim?

Answer: The minimum amount that you are able to redeem is £10.00.

Once you reach 1000 points the button that allows you to claim your points will appear to allow you to continue with your transfer of points (cash value) to your PayPal account.

How can I see how many points I have been awarded?

Answer: Enter the Member Login area in the top right corner of our website, to log on to your My Account. Under the chapter ‘Claim My Rewards’ you will be able to see next to your Account Balance the number of points you have collected.

Will I also get paid for participating?

Answer: Some surveys offer points which can be cashed in via PayPal; sometimes prizes can also be offered. Check your survey invitation for reward details.

How can I check to see if I have any points?

Answer: You can view your points collected to date under your My Rewards History and see the total under Convert your points. We would recommend that you keep a record of points that are stated on your survey invitation and that you are expecting to see in your ‘Account Balance’. If at any time you feel there is a discrepancy, please do not hesitate to contact us.
